Environmental policy

FF Skagen is a company which is concerned about the environment and which actively and engaged works to reduce its environmental impacts.

1. Respecting its importance and position in the community, FF continuosly wish to reduce the inconvenient smells to an acceptable level.
   
2. Based on defined objectives FF continiously aim to reduce the companys environmental impact and consumption of resources. New ways of production with a minimum of enviriomental impact currently through the association of fishmeal and fishoil manufacturers in Denmark.
   
3. By means of a system for settling quality, FF will among other things, continuosly aim to improve the quality of landed protein fish and fish trimmings for best possible utilization of the resources, and minimize the influence of the company's impact on the environment.
   
4. By way of internal education and training FF wish to encourage the consciousness of energy and environment among the staff and ensure sufficient knowledge of the environment.
   
5. FF will perform evaluations of environmental consequenses in connection with new investments and/or larger reorganizations of the production.
   
6. FF will monitor our impacts on the environment and our energy comsumption in order to maintain the targets set for environmental improvements. 
   
7. FF will publish its environmental policy and its objectives to improve the environment and openly communicate with whomever may be interested in the environment, among these environmental authorities, customers and suppliers, concering all environmental matters.
